These PADI specialty dive courses familiarize you with specific skills, knowledge, planning, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards for various special interest areas of diving. It is also a great way to refresh your diving skills if you have been out of the water for a while.
Typically, each specialty dive course will take 1-2 days to complete, depending on your chosen topic. If you’re already a PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver, the dives you made to complete those dive courses can be used as credit towards the corresponding Specialty Dive Course, so you’re already part way there!

Boat Diver Dive Course
2 dives, 1 day
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 10. Much of the world’s best scuba diving is accessible only by boat. Learn how to dive safely from any boat, plus boat terminology, and safety.

Deep Diver Dive Course
4 dives, 2 days
You must be at least an Adventure Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 15. Learn how to plan deep dives taking into consideration the particular hazards, safety precautions and equipment required.

Digital Underwater Photographer Dive Course
2 dives, 1 day
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 10. Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties. The rise of digital underwater photography has made it easier and more fun than ever. This course gets you going quickly with today’s modern digital equipment, whether you use a point-and-shoot camera or a D-SLR like the pro’s.

Emergency Oxygen Provider
There are no prerequisites, age restrictions or water sessions required for this course. Whether you’re a diver, snorkeler, or just somebody that is around the water, knowing how and when to use emergency oxygen is a great skill to have and means you’re ready to help others should the need arise. You’ll learn about dive injuries, the different types of emergency oxygen equipment and how to handle them safely, and you’ll practice using each during the practical session of the course.

Multi-level Diver Dive Course

You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 12. Learn techniques to extend bottom times using the Electronic Recreational Dive Planner and dive computers.

Night Diver Dive Course
3 dives, 3 nights
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 12. Discover why divers rave about diving at night. Learn about nocturnal marine creatures and night navigation. Experience the nocturnal realm of the sea. It is the only time to see the true magnificence of the underwater color spectrum. We bring artificial light so we see the true colors.

Nitrox (Enriched Air Diver) Dive Course
2 dives, 1 day
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 12. Want to learn how to spend more time underwater? This is the course for you! Diving with enriched air nitrox means you can typically stay down longer and get back in the water sooner - no wonder it’s so popular. You’ll learn about enriched air equipment considerations, enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure, how to tell what’s in your scuba tank and how to set your dive computer.

Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive Course
2 dives, 1 day
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 10. Learn how to improve your buoyancy, resulting in decreased air consumption and better control underwater. This dive course works well in conjunction with the Underwater Photography Specialty Dive Course.

Project AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Dive Course
As a scuba diver, the health of aquatic ecosystems is often what makes a good dive. Become aware of the fragility of coral reefs and how you can help preserve them. This course teaches you about the Project AWARE Foundation, how coral reefs function, why they are so important, why many reefs are in serious trouble and what you can do to prevent further decline. You don’t even need to get wet for this course!

Project AWARE Reef Fish Identification Dive Course
2 dives, 1 day
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 10. Identify a variety of fish by observing their markings, shapes, and behavior.

Search and Recovery Diver Course
4 dives, 2 days
You must be an Advanced Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 12. This course teaches you effective ways to search for objects lost underwater that increase your chances of success. You’ll learn to locate large and small objects by using natural navigation and compass-led search patterns, plus how to use lift bags and other recovery methods to bring them up.

Underwater Naturalist Dive Course
2 dives, 1 day
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 10. This is a specialty course for anyone who loves fish, coral and sponges and wants to learn more about them. Explore and identify marine life including vertebrates, invertebrates, and plant life.

Underwater Navigator Dive Course
3 dives, 2 days
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 10. Learn how to use compass and natural navigation techniques to reduce stress and increase the effectiveness of dive planning.

Underwater Photographer Dive Course
2 dives, 1 day
You must be an Open Water Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 10. The PADI Underwater Photographer course is a more traditional photography course designed for conventional film equipment. Learn how to focus and compose an underwater photograph as well as setting up and maintaining your photographic equipment. A great way to learn how to record your underwater experiences. It’s not as easy as it sounds – fish don’t stand still and say “CHEESE”!

Wreck Diver Dive Course
4 dives, 2 days
You must be at least an Adventure Diver, be medically fit and minimum age 15. This course is an introduction to recreational wreck diving and develops the skills, techniques and knowledge necessary for safe wreck diving using specialized wreck equipment.
Master Scuba Diver
The highest non-professional rating in the PADI educational System. It defines a diver who has acquired dive experience and knowledge by participating in variety of PADI courses. To qualify for the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating, you must achieve all of the following:
· PADI Rescue Diver rating
· Five PADI Specialty Diver certifications
· 50 logged dives
